A few tips for Mature Makeup
1. Use a lightweight, hydrating foundation to keep skin supple and prevent makeup from looking dry.
2. Blend foundation with a moist makeup sponge to evenly distribute it across your face for a thinner, diffused, and more airbrushed look.
5. For a daring look, use a little eyeliner to elongate the corners of your eyes towards the brow for an instant lift, but remember to keep it soft.
6. Be cautious that your moisturizer isn’t too heavy, as it can cause the foundation to slip, feather and look uneven.
4. Consider using dark brown eyeliner instead of black to soften the eye area, especially if you have blue, green, or gray eyes.
3. When it comes to the eyes, remember that less is more. Use strategically placed pigment to brighten, lift, and define your lids.
7. For daytime, try a lightweight, hydrating foundation, or a BB cream or CC cream. A BB cream offers light coverage and added skin care benefits like SPF and hydrators. A CC cream also aims to color correct and is suitable for oily and acne-prone skin due to their mattifying, lightweight and anti-aging properties.
8. Learn to artfully sculpt your face with the proper brushes. An angled contouring brush can sculpt and define, while a nice, fluffy cheek brush can highlight and bring out the apple of your cheeks.
